Linda Darlene Kasabian, also known as Flowerchild, is a minor antagonist in Quentin Tarantino's ninth film, "Once Upon a Time In Hollywood". She is a member of the Manson Family cult. Charles Manson send her and four other cult members to kill Sharon Tate and her friends. She is based on a real cult member of the same name.

She was portrayed Uma Thurman's daughter, Maya Hawke.

Background Information

Linda Kasabian was born on June 21, 1949 in Biddeford, Maine. In early summer, 1969, she joined Charles Manson's cult.

Once Upon a Time In Hollywood

During the evening of 8th August 1969, she and four of Manson's followers, Tex, Sadie and Katie, are sitting in a car outside a house of an American actor, Rick Dalton, plotting to kill actress Sharon Tate on Charles Manson's orders. Rick, annoyed by the cult members, goes outside and yells at them, causing the cultist to back the car away from the street. Tex and Katie recognize Rick from a TV show "Bounty Law", and recall the amount of violence on the show. They then decide to change their plans and murder Rick instead, in order to "kill the people who taught them to kill". However at their way to Rick's house, Flowerchild tells the group that she "left her knife" in the car and asks Tex if she can go and takie it. He agrees and gives her the car keys. After Linda gets to the vehcile, she drives off, leaving the cultists alone. After rest of the cult members break to Rick Dalton's house, Tex and Katie are killed by his stunt double, Cliff Booth, and Sadie is burned alive by Rick himself via falemthrower.

Personality

Despite being a member of a cult leaded by a mad man, Linda Kasabian is shown to be the most sane and least loyal to Charles Manson. She refuses to kill other people and abandons her group to not to commit this act.

• In real life, Linda Kasabian stayed behind to warn other members if somebody would come while they went to kill Sharon Tate and the rest of people in Roman Polanski's house.
